Dorset Scrapstore collects materials donated by industry, commerce, individuals and after sorting and some preparation (if needed), makes these materials available to the community as a valuable, low cost resource. The community benefits not only by having access to these materials, which would otherwise often go straight to landfill sites, but also by improvement to the environment that follows from our waste reduction, recycling and reuse activities. The materials include sticky backed plastic, paper, card, cardboard tubes, rope, netting, fabics and lots more, some of which are not available from conventional sources. Membership of the Scrapstore is open to schools, groups and individuals.

The Resound Bus Project
We are a local community project with a converted double decker bus fitted out to provide youth and community activities.
We currently provide a mobile youth club session for 11 - 18 year olds in sturminster marshall and year 4 - year 6 in Bearwood every other week. We are looking to increase the work that we do to cover other areas within Poole and other age groups. The bus is equipped with computers, a coffee bar, disco lighting, dj equipment, board games, seating areas and sports equipment. We also have childrens toys and mobile soft play equipment.
The project has been set up by christians in the Poole area. If you are aware of any other areas within Poole and the surrounding area that would benefit from the bus visiting or if you would like to find out more about the project and ways in which you can support us. Please feel free to contact us.
Because we are a community project we rely entirely on the generous donations of individuals and charities in order to continue our work. We are in the process of registering as a charity.
