Event Description: | TLS Lite is Happening in Poole
TLS Lite is a locally tutored course for those who want to EXPLORE their faith by ENGAGING, with scripture and other people who will ENRICH each other by EMBARKING together on a journey of ENCOURAGEMENT which will equip them to share the Good News as they ENJOY learning together.
TLS Lite comprises a series of 5 week modules with a 3 week introduction.
Each 5 week module will include some personal reading and reflection, weekly informal structured tutorials and a study day.
The introductory module will start in September with tutorials held at Skinner Street United Reformed Church on Monday evenings (7.00 pm – 8.30 pm).
The second (5 week) module, ‘Getting to Grips with the Bible’, will conclude with a study day on Saturday 22nd November lead by Revd Martin Manley who is a URC Wessex Synod Training Officer.
Each Module will be lead by a local tutor (the first two by Revd Tim Meachin).
TLS Lite can lead to Accreditation as a United Reformed Church Lay Preacher.

Notes
The course is free of charge but you will need to buy materials.
Refreshments will be provided at tutorials and the study day (which will include a shared lunch).
Some materials may be available free of charge – don’t let the cost stop you.
We will Endeavour to arrange the loan of relevant books as needed.
